Delete Your Makro Account

Account deletion uses your current authenticated session, so it works with Apple or Google sign-in without asking Makro for a separate password.

• Open Makro and sign in to the account you want to delete.
• Open Profile → Settings.
• Under Account, choose Delete account.
• Read the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

Deletion cannot be undone. If the request fails, your account remains intact so you can retry or contact support.

Deleting your Makro account initiates deletion of the authentication account and user-owned Makro database records, including profile and preferences, calorie and macronutrient goals, meal history, saved meals, weight check-ins, Coach conversations and messages, and associated AI-usage records. Makro also requests deletion of the identified PostHog person record associated with the account.

Limited records may remain temporarily in encrypted backups, security logs, provider systems, or records Makro must keep for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, or transaction purposes. Those records are not kept for ordinary product use and are deleted or de-identified under the applicable retention process.

Email nomofoway@gmail.com from the address associated with your Apple or Google sign-in when possible. State that you want to delete your Makro account. We may request limited information to verify account ownership; never send your Apple or Google password or an authentication token.

If you want a copy of your information first, open Settings → Privacy and data → Export my Makro data. You can also read the Privacy Policy or contact Support.
